Have fun INDOORS this winter playing Futsal at UFA!
UFA offers Futsal during the winter for academy/select level players and consists of twelve 1-hour sessions or six 1.5-hour sessions from December to January. WEEKEND OPTIONS: Fridays/Saturdays/Sundays (Six 1.5 hour sessions - Cost: $125) These will be open sessions with no team assignments. Players will be grouped upon arrival to play and keep the environment fun and challenging. REGISTER ONLINE HERE
Mon/Wed & Tue/Thu (Two 1 hour sessions weekly - Cost: $150) 6 teams of 6 each - Co-ed Our Futsal program is designed to give players a chance to keep in shape over the winter in an informal indoor setting, similar to playing with friends in your neighborhood. While UFA coaching staff will be present, there will be no formal training or coaching. TO REGISTER: Players must register individually here. However, players wishing to be placed on the same team must enter the full names of their teammates (or should identify one main player name) and enter the name under Special Requests. ***** One of the beauties of soccer is that the game can be played anywhere the ball can roll, and playing in a variety of conditions helps to develop more well-rounded players. A mix of outdoor and indoor soccer along with some variety in the type of playing surface, size of field and type of ball used will have a positive impact on ball skills and clever play. Young players exposed to playing Futsal show a greater comfort on the ball along with more intelligent movement off-the-ball. The more pleasure they derive from their participation, the more they wish to play and practice on their own.
